I was looking back over some old blog posts and ran across this:

Oof. Times have changed. After 4 years and then 3 months of our current president, the commutation of Scooter Libbey’s sentence by W. now looks so tame. After the pardon of the violent schmucks who stormed the Capitol, who cares that Scooter got less time (or no time? Who remembers?) for whatever crimes he committed at the time.

On the other hand, it makes you wonder when the undermining of law and justice by people with power really started …
